Brass Pill Box

A new take on the ubiquitous plastic seven-day pill cassette, this brass version is made to last. This pillbox started as part of my Masters Thesis looking at personal medical experiences and the objects that shape them. The brass pill box offers an alternative to the throwaway plastic kinds we find at pharmacies. There is also irony and humor in the jewelry box-like design for our generally less than pleasant medication experiences. Can something so familiar take on a completely new place in our hearts and homes?
