Jewelry

Metal fabrication and jewelry production provided opportunity to experiment with materials and form and ask questions about what we wear and how we wear it. The outcomes are more examples of Industrial Design than they are traditional jewelry. Other pieces were inspired by found objects- turning something old into something new. Taking form and function from history and thinking about continued use and potential application today. Years of jewelry production taught me a great deal about how to manufacture, market, and sell as a small business. I also found my place in a strong community of local designers starting their own companies.
